How Our Contract Manufacturing Process Works

From prototype to full-scale high-mix production, we deliver on your precise requirements.

    1

    NDA + Files

Your journey begins when you submit your Gerbers, BOM, or XML. Your NDA is signed immediately to protect your intellectual property, making sure your ideas are safe with us from the very first moment.

    2

    Detailed Quoting

Next, you receive transparent quoting with zero surprises. We committo a confirmed delivery date for you. That timeline begins once all your project's parts have arrived at our facility.

    3

    Production Run

Finally, we finish the production run, which is followed by meticulous Testing, Validation, and Packaging for your shipment. During production, we give constant updates, usually on a weekly basis, and you have direct access to the engineers working on your project.

    Aftermarket Repair FAQs

    What is aftermarket electronics repair?

Aftermarket electronics repair is the diagnosis, repair, and refurbishment of electronic assemblies after they've left the original production run — including BGA rework, component-level replacement, conformal coating removal and reapplication, and root-cause failure analysis. It extends the service life of fielded products and supports customers managing end-of-life or legacy systems.

When should I choose repair over replacement?

Repair is typically the better choice when (1) replacement components are obsolete or end-of-life, (2) the assembly contains long-lead-time custom parts, (3) regulatory recertification of a new build is costly (medical, aerospace), or (4) the failed unit is part of a larger fielded fleet where consistent revisions matter. Cost crossover is usually around 40–60% of new-build cost.

Do you perform BGA rework and reballing?

Yes. We perform BGA, QFN, and LGA package removal, reballing, and replacement using hot-air and infrared rework stations. All rework is performed to IPC-7711/7721 (Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies) standards with thermal profile documentation and post-rework AOI/X-Ray inspection.

Can you reverse-engineer or repair products without drawings?

Yes — we routinely perform repair-without-documentation for legacy and orphaned products. Our process includes destructive teardown of a known-good reference unit, signal mapping, component identification, and functional verification against original spec. Most cases require 1–2 reference units to build a repair process.

How do you handle obsolete component sourcing?

We maintain supply relationships with authorized franchise distributors (Avnet, Arrow, Digi-Key) and trusted broker networks for obsolete or end-of-life parts. Every part is verified for authenticity through documented inspection and electrical test before it enters a customer's repair flow — counterfeit prevention is non-negotiable.

What documentation do I receive with a repaired unit?

Each repaired unit is shipped with a Repair Report documenting the failure mode, root cause analysis, components replaced, post-repair test results, and technician sign-off. AS9100D and ISO 13485 work also includes lot traceability and material certifications. Reports are exportable for FAA, FDA, or DCMA audit support.

Do you offer warranty on repaired electronics?

Yes. Standard warranty on aftermarket repair is 90 days against the specific repair performed; extended warranty options are available for sustaining-engineering programs. Field failures within warranty are addressed via no-charge re-repair or root-cause investigation if the original failure mode recurs.

Can you support obsolescence management for end-of-life products?

Yes. We support customers with last-time-buy planning, alternate-component qualification, board-level redesign for obsolete BOM items, and scheduled lifetime-buy storage of critical parts. This is common for aerospace and medical OEMs supporting 15–25 year fielded product lifecycles.
